My sister and I went to KC this past Saturday night. We met up with Morrie, Heather, Alyssa and Jordan at the Super 8 across from Worlds of Fun. This is the second year in a row that we've made a weekend of going to KC and seeing a KC Chiefs game. They played the Denver Broncos.
We got to the hotel about 6:30 PM and visited until we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Bert and Matt came up the following day as they had a poker game they could not miss.
It was 25 degrees but we wrapped up and did the tailgating thing before going to the game. It was really a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we were not around any other Bronco fans AND they lost, so we took a lot of verbal abuse. It was still a lot of fun though and I can't wait for next year.
**note. Heather's hand warmers were great and she brought enough for everyone. Can't forget those next year for sure!
