The weekend before Independence Day brings lots of fireworks shows around this area. Tomorrow night, we are going to find a spot in Republic to watch the show and again on Saturday night in Springfield. Bert has to work so it will be just me and the kids and anyone else I can find who might like to go.
Kim, Luke, my two and I are also going to all brave lunch on Saturday. One of a BAGAZILLION we will be having from this time forward.
It's been a good week. Got back on schedule post Iowa trip, got all laundry done and have been relaxing with the kids. Yesterday, Emily and I spent 3 hours at the pool and today, another 2 hours. Ethan can't hang at the pool so much this year. For starters, he doesn't care much for it. Secondly, the chlorine is breaking him out. He gets to go to "splash time" on occasion, but that's pretty much it. He is having lots of fun in the backyard with the kiddy pool, sprinkler and hose though. He sure can't go without having some fun haha!
