Monday, all 4 of us went to the fair for a few hours. We walked around and showed Emily all the rides she might be able to do but she didn't want any part of it. She seemed amazed at all the activity though and enjoyed the crowds. She also found a little girl to play with while we sat at a sitting area and fed Ethan. She also climbed her first tree, without falling I might add haha. We got an ice cream to share, then Bert won a ball for Emily since that was all she could think of after awhile (seeing all the balls everywhere). We walked around the livestock area so she could see animals, but she didn't want to ride the ponies. We might try a little harder next year if she is still shy about those things.
Ethan kicked back in the stroller the whole time and just took everything in.
As we left, we ran into St Johns people. Scott and Looper were working. We ran into Matt, annette and family and Betty D. Hopefully we can stay longer next year.
Not a whole lot going on. Been working a lot and Bert's been on Daddy patrol. He starts a long stretch of days tomorrow and I will be back in my mommy mode. I miss it.
We also have a birthday party to go to this Saturday. Baby Noah is turning 1. This will be Ethan's first BD party and Emily's first party that she may realize she can't open presents because it's not her party. Should be fun, yet interesting.
