Thurs night

Thursday night is my relax night. While most people have another day of work, and maybe school, i get to kick back and relax.

I am sitting outside, letting the kids run with the neighbor kids. It is hot, but not near as hot as the past week. Any other night at this time over the past week, i would be sweltering, waiting for the sun to go down so i could make the kids go in. Its not cool to make the kids go in earlier than everyone else just because the mom had a serious case of swamp-ass. Why dont kids get that miserable hot?

And at least there is a breeze!

Bert leaves for Vegas tomorrow and will be gone for a week. Just the kids and i again. Nothing huge planned for them, just the usual fun stuff they are accustomed to. Also plan a pool evening once or twice....complete with enormous shades and hat for me.

You will always be able to tell when i am posting from my phone: dont care about typos or correct sentence form and, entries will be short. This typing with thumbs is for the birds.
